Tangled Hair? What to do about it?
Tangled Hair? What to do about it?
There could be a few reasons why your hair is tangling a lot. Hair texture, the frequency of brushing, exposure to wind, as well as the healthiness of the hair, can all contribute to matting. For example:● It is super thick and curly
● It is long and fine
● It is very dry and damaged
● You don't brush your hair throughout the day, etc.
Tips For Tangle-Free Hair
1.Use a wide-toothed combIf you do want to run a brush through your hair, then opt for a wide-toothed comb, preferably one made out of wood.A comb made from this material will decrease the build-up of static energy and cause less breakage than using a brush.
2.Brush your hair before washing
The best way to avoid tangles and knots is to brush your hair out before you wash it. Go in sections, starting from the bottom where the most knots and tangles are, and work your way up.
3.Avoid hair products with a lot of chemicals
Chemicals are bad for your human hair extensions. Using them on a consistent basis could also contribute to damaging your hair.
4.Don’t wash your hair frequently
Everyday shampoo will strip moisture out of your hair. Washing every other day will make sure that your hair and scalp is not totally dry which is a cause of damaged and tangled hair.
5.Use a deep nourishing conditioner
Conditioning the hair will restore moisture back into it, leaving it smoother and less likely to tangle. Tip: condition the ends only, to avoid greasy roots.
6.Keep your hair dyes and bleaching to a least
The more dye you use, the drier your hair becomes, and tangles become more frequent after dying my locks. Keeping dyes to a least is best to keep your hair less damaged and less tangled.
7.Regular trimmings
As your remy hair weave grows, the ends get dry and split up. This makes your hair lose its shine and silky feel.Regular trimmings will keep the split ends away. Get regular trimmings every 6-7 weeks. Also, try to minimize dying your hair especially if you have longer hair.
8.Be aware of how you sleep
Please take good care of your hair while you're asleep. Your hair is its weakest when it's wet, make sure your hair is dry before you fall asleep. Note: never sleep with it tied up.
